Police are on the lookout after carnappers stole a parked pickup truck in the downtown area, San Juan Street, part of Barangay 12, Bacolod City, Saturday afternoon.
Police identified the victim and owner of the vehicle as 47-year-old Rodel Jamili, a resident of Barangay Taloc, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Investigators from Police Station 1 (PS1) said Jamili’s family driver, Ricardo Gumban, came to their station for help.
Gumban claimed he parked the Isuzu DMax pickup, worth P1.2 million, with plate no. FHB 711, in front of a hotel in the area around 2:00 p.m.
