A motorcycle driver was critically injured after accidentally slamming into a parked cargo truck along Rosario Street, Bacolod City, yesterday morning.
Police identified the victim as 44-year-old Noel Ruiz, a resident of Barangay Mandalagan in the said city.
Traffic investigator Police Officer 3 (PO3) Johnny Dela Peña said the victim was speeding along Rosario Street and may have not seen the parked truck owned by a cargo forwarding company.
Ruiz was immediately rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) after sustaining several injuries across his body.
Police are still investigating the incident in order to determine who is responsible for the accident./WDJ
