Good news for Capitol workers.
The provincial government of Negros Occidental is expected to release its midyear bonus for its employees on Monday.
Lucille Gelvolea, Acting Provincial Administrator, said almost all offices have been processing their papers so the employees will receive their respective bonuses.
She also stated the midyear bonus is equivalent to one month’s salary of the respective employees.
Gelvolea further explained the midyear bonus is given to augment to the needs of the parents for the enrollment and opening of classes of every school year.
Gelvolea said the midyear bonus, a tax free incentive, will be received by about 2,000 permanent and casual employees of the Capitol./WDJ
