Six people were nabbed by members of the Regional Special Operations Task Group-18 (RSOTG-18) in a buy-bust operation at 5th Road, Puentebella Subdivision, Barangay Taculing, Bacolod City, Wednesday evening.
Police identified the arrested as Emmanuel Alcala, Stephen Celedonia, Rapunzel Estribo, Augie John Tadeo, Adrian Carlos Aspan, and Jayp Claveria, all of legal age and residents of the said city.
RSOTG-18 operatives who have spoken on a condition of anonymity, said Alcala was the main subject of their surveillance which lasted for a week.
The other suspects, meanwhile, were arrested as they were caught in the act of snorting illegal drugs inside Alcala’s alleged drug den.
Police recovered five elongated and two small sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and the P500 buy-bust money.
Alcala, meanwhile, admitted he was a drug addict, but denied he was selling illegal drugs in the area.
All six suspects are facing illegal drugs charges, and are detained at Police Station 6 (PS6)./WDJ
