Seven people were arrested by members of Police Station 2 (PS2) after conducting a buy-bust operation at Purok Narra Baybay, Barangay 8, Bacolod City, last Saturday evening.
Police identified the main subject of the operation as 27-year-old mother, Janice Garcia, a resident of the said barangay.
They, meanwhile, identified the other suspects as Jimmy Cantero, 32; Crisente Despi, 30; Cheildor Peruelo, 32; Jim Reynold dela Cruz, 34; Edgardo Fuentespina, 27; and Ernie Lim, 39.
PS2 commander, Police Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias, said they arrested Garcia after she handed one sachet of suspected shabu worth P200 to an undercover operative.
The six others were also nabbed after they were caught in the act of snorting illegal drugs inside Garcia’s residence.
Police recovered five small and three elongated sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and the P200 buy-bust money.
All seven suspects are facing illegal drugs charges and are detained at PS2./WDJ
