The Bacolod Traffic Authority Office (BTAO) is currently conducting an investigation after one of their personnel allegedly jumped off a bridge near the entrance of Panaad Park, located between Barangays Mansilingan and Alijis in Bacolod City.
BTAO head, Police Superintendent Luisito Acebuche, identified the traffic enforcer as 26-year-old Miguel Biñas of Barangay Bata.
Acebuche said, as of now, he is trying to communicate with the traffic enforcer in order to verify the report.
Biñas is currently confined at an undisclosed hospital in Bacolod City after sustaining several injuries to his right leg and forehead.
Acebuche added the enforcer did not appear to be his “usual self” when he first tried speaking with him./WDJ
