The Bakbakan sa La Carlota boxing event is set to take place tonight at 7:00 p.m. at the Public Plaza Festival Park, featuring Gerpaul Valero of Mandaue, Cebu taking on Jess Rhey Waminal.
In his prior fight, Valero faced off against Australian Jason Maloney for the WBA Oceania super bantamweight title last year, but lost in a technical knockout.
Among the undercards include Lorenz Ladrada of Cagayan de Oro fighting Lenmar Precillas of Mandaue City, and Jasper Cayno of Bohol taking on Romel Renondo of Murcia, Negros Occidental./WDJ
