A suspected drug pusher was arrested by Escalante City police, following a buy-bust operation at Purok Greenfield, Barangay Balintawak, Escalante City, Negros Occidental, Thursday evening.
Police identified the suspect as Allan Caminos, a resident of the said barangay.
Escalante Police chief, Police Superintendent Leonardo Borromeo, said Caminos was apprehended after he handed one sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop.
When searched by police, he further yielded one more sachet of suspected shabu, the buy-bust money amounting to P500, and his mobile phone.
Borromeo added the recovered evidence was immediately transported to the regional crime laboratory in Bacolod City, while Caminos is detained at the Escalante City Police Station.
