Even with tropical depressions still on the weather menu, travelers are still heading out for a leisurely summer. Many are visiting regional destinations, including Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Hong Kong; however, they have not experienced the fun of Boracay, Mactan, Cebu, Sicogon island, Baguio, Tagaytay, Davao City, Negros island, Panay island, among others.
Traveling within the country should be our priority. On top of that, we’re requesting hoteliers to offer discounts to Filipinos. Hoteliers should be providing Pinoys with special rates; there is no point for hotels to have vacant rooms.
Take note: A room lost the night is lost forever – my logic when I was a hotel manager.

Kudos to Land Transportation Office-Region VI (LTO-6) Director Roland Ramos for his continued efforts in leading deputation seminars this week in San Carlos City, Escalante City, Cadiz City, and Sagay City. Ramos wants local police and traffic authorities to be partners in implementing order on the roads.
