Bacolod Lone District Rep. Greg Gasataya addressed the 1st Principals’ National Congress on K-to-12, which opened yesterday at the SMX Convention Center at SM City Bacolod and runs for three days, encouraging them to inspire their students.
He also pointed out he co-authored House Bills 56 and 1668. The former increases minimum pay for teachers, government employees, and the personal economic relief allowance (PERA); while the latter provides additional insurance benefits to public school teachers.
Gasataya also thanked Department of Education Undersecretary Jesus Lorenzo Mateo for the more than 300 public school classroom projects provided for the city./WDJ
