A jail visitor at Police Station 9 (PS9) was nabbed by police after he was found trying to smuggle an improvised tooter into the station in Barangay Sum-ag, Bacolod City, Wednesday afternoon.
Police identified the suspect as 22-year-old Marvin Gevero, a resident of East Homes 3, Barangay Estefania, Bacolod City.
According to reports from PS9, Gevero was in the station to visit his friend, who is incarcerated inside the station’s detention facility.
When cops performed a routine pat down of the suspect, they discovered the drug paraphernalia and arrested him on the spot.
Gevero is now facing drug-related charges and is detained at PS9./WDJ
