The Iloilo City Council recently passed a resolution, sponsored by City Councilor Joshua Alim, recognizing Grammy winner for Best Musical Theater Album, Jhett Dizon Tolentino, who hails from Barangay Calumpang, in the Molo district of Iloilo City.
He was also previously recognized at the Tony Awards.
The resolution urged Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog to declare Tolentino among the “Outstanding Iloilo.”
Tolentino won the Grammy as a producer for “The Color Purple.”/WDJ
