A public viewing of the remains of former Bacolod City Mayor Jose Montalvo, Jr. is presently underway at the Acropolis Gardens in Barangay Bata, with the city recently announcing a mass and neurological service will be held at the Bacolod City Government Center (BCGC) later this week.
The late mayor will be transported to the BCGC at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, where a mass will take place at 4:00 p.m. followed by neurological services at 5:30 p.m.
Currently, a daily 6:00 p.m. novena mass is held at the Acropolis Gardens.
The following day, Montalvo will be transported to the St. Jude Thaddeus Parish in Barangay Alijis, with a final interment at the Bacolod Memorial Park at 4:00 p.m.
Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia has since ordered all flags in the city be flown at half mast./WDJ
