Bacolod City Councilor Wilson Gamboa, Jr. was awarded the Golden Globe Medal of Distinction last week, during the 2017 Golden Globe Annual Award (GGAA) for Business Excellence and Outstanding Filipino Achiever ceremony at The Manila Hotel.
“I was deeply honored to have been selected alongside prominent leaders and personalities in the country and, at the same time, humbled, touched, and inspired by the support for my advocacies,” he said. “I am expressing my gratitude to the organizers and to the people of Bacolod City.”
The award is given in recognition of exemplary leadership and noteworthy contributions in the field of public service.
