Bus company Vallacar Transit Incorporated (VTI), operators of the Ceres Liner bus, is offering reward money for any information on the whereabouts of the individual that murdered one of their bus conductors last week in Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the fatality as Christopher Baynosa, a resident of Toboso, Negros Occidental.
According to Talisay City police chief, Police Superintendent Adonis Rosales, Baynosa was shot inside a Ceres Liner bus after he tried to pacify the unidentified gunman, who was drunk and allegedly harassing female passengers.
Following the incident, VTI Legal and Media Relations Manager Jade Seballos offered a P20,000 reward for anyone who can pinpoint the whereabouts of the gunman, who is believed to be armed and dangerous.
Seballos added they have extended financial assistance to Baynosa’s family.
Rosales, meanwhile, believes the gunman is a resident of Talisay City.
A follow-up operation is still ongoing./WDJ
