One killed, three wounded in separate Bacolod City shootings

At least one person was killed, while three others were injured, in separate shooting incidents in Bacolod City, early yesterday morning.
Police identified the fatality as 25-year-old Anthony Tenebroso, a resident of Barangay 2 in the said city.
Police Station 2 (PS2) said the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the liver area of his stomach, based on a report from Philippine Red Cross first responders.
Police added residents in the area of Purok Sigay, Barangay 2 did not see the perpetrator, but heard a gunshot and saw the victim lying on the cemented portion of a variety store.
PS2 commander, Police Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias, said the victim was allegedly a drug runner in the area.
Meanwhile, a separate shooting incident occurred at a videoke bar at the Northbound Terminal in Barangay Banago.
Police Station 3 (PS3) identified the wounded victims as Joergie Umali, 19, of Basay, Negros Oriental; Edgar Sacate, 43, a construction worker from Eastern Samar; and Mary Jane Ulgasan, 39, a waitress, and resident of Cauayan, Negros Occidental.
An investigation by PS3 revealed a commotion ensued with a group of unidentified persons in the bar, wherein one of the suspects fled on board a tricycle.
The suspect later returned and fired an unknown caliber of firearm.
The three victims were brought to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) for treatment.
Both PS2 and PS3 are still conducting a follow-up operation to identify and apprehend the suspects./WDJ
