Golez called the project an “extraordinary landmark,” and that Silay City is “very fortunate and blessed with this new tourism-related project.”
The governor, meanwhile, said, “Magic Island will indeed attract hundreds of thousands of tourists and income for Silay City.”
Benitez pointed out the project has been four years in the making, noting, “This is a long awaited project since before I became a congressman, I dream of this as a form of diversification.”
During a recent announcement of the project, Bantug said the theme park will include rides and entertainment, educational exhibitions and programs, and lifestyle hubs; along with food, beverages, and merchandise.
Among the featured rides are the tallest ferris wheel in the Visayas, roller coasters, carousels, kiddie and family rides, thrill rides, and go karts. The park will also feature a haunted house and arcade games./WDJ
