The Association of Negros Producers-Foundation for Enterprise Development, Inc. (AFEDI) will be hosting a national food safety conference at the SMX Convention Center at SM City Bacolod from May 24 to 25.
Coined the OURFood National Conference, the event intends to bring together food entrepreneurs, food technologists, restaurateurs, and key players in the food industry; and will feature talks, entrepreneur success stories, and exhibits highlighting food safety.
The conference will also discuss topics including food safety challenges and practical solutions, the importance of food packaging and labeling, food safety in backyard production, among others.
AFEDI is partnering with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the AFOS Foundation, a German non-governmental organization, in conducting the conference.
