Teams from Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia are currently in Cebu City, set to take part in the 2017 Philippine Open Tchoukball Invitational at the City Sports Club in the Ayala Business Park, which runs from April 5 to 7.
Taiwan currently tops the world rankings for both men and women’s divisions, while the Philippines ranks number 25 and 21, respectively.
Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Commissioner Ramón Fernández is expected to attend the event, alongside Southeast Asia Tchoukball Federation head and Philippine Tchoukball Federation President Raymund Jamelo./WDJ
