The mother of a 16-year-old student recently visited the Department of Education (DepEd) office in Bacolod City and accused a teacher of molestation.
According to a report by Aksyon Radyo-Bacolod yesterday afternoon, the mother, who has not been named, claimed her daughter failed to return home for three days, to later discover she had been staying with her teacher.
She added her daughter has stayed at her teacher’s home before, at times with another student, without reporting to a parent.
The daughter, however, denied the allegations and says she has not been touched by her teacher.
In response, Bacolod City Schools Division Superintendent Cynthia Demavivas immediately ordered an investigation to the claims./WDJ
