The Philippine national football team, the Azkals, will meet Nepal tonight, at 8:00 p.m. at the Rizal Memorial Stadium, in the third qualifying round for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. During pre-match interviews, the coach for the Nepalese side expressed confidence in his squad.
Nepal coach Gyotuku Koji told The Himalayan Times, even if the Philippines boasts a team that is physically and technically ahead of them, they are still capable of winning.
“We will definitely go for a win,” he stated.
The Azkals have dominated their head-to-head statistics, having won their last four meetings. The last time Nepal won was back in 1982./WDJ
