Two suspected drug pushers were arrested by police, Wednesday evening, following a buy-bust operation in Barangay 1, Kabankalan City.
Police identified the suspects as 45-year-old Jame Aller, Jr., a resident of the said city; and Renato Lima, 23, a resident of Barangay Dancalan, Ilog.
Kabankalan City police chief, Police Superintendent Rhea Santos, said Aller used to be the sixth most wanted drug suspect in their station, but was removed after he stopped his illegal activity.
However, their station received intelligence suggesting he was back in the drug business, after President Rodrigo Duterte ordered the suspension of police officers in the drug campaign.
Cops immediately nabbed both suspects after Aller handed one sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer.
Police recovered from Aller two sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and the P480 buy-bust money; while they recovered a loaded .22 caliber revolver from Lima.
Both Aller and Lima are facing criminal charges and are detained at the Kabankalan City Police Station./WDJ
