Two suspected drug personalities were arrested in two separate buy-bust operations conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of Police Station 8 (PS8) and Police Station 1 (PS1) on Monday evening and Tuesday afternoon, respectively.
Police identified the suspects as 38-year-old Israel Trazo, who was arrested at Purok Sigay, Barangay Singcang-Airport; and Errol Olorga, 28, who was nabbed at Purok Calachuche, Barangay 9.
PS8 commander, Police Senior Inspector Wilfredo Benoman, Jr., said Trazo was listed on their station’s street level drugs watchlist.
He said Trazo admitted to the crime, claiming it was his only source of income, as he was raising four children and his wife is about to give birth to their fifth.
PS8 SDEU operatives recovered 11 sachets of suspected shabu from Trazo, and drug paraphernalia.
Meanwhile, Olorga was arrested by PS1-SDEU after handing one sachet of suspected shabu in exchange for P200.
PS1-SDEU operatives said the suspect was included on their target list of alleged drug pushers in their station.
Police recovered one sachet of suspected shabu, the P200 buy-bust money, and P500 of suspected drug proceeds.
Both Trazo and Olorga are facing illegal drugs charges and are detained at PS8 and PS1, respectively./WDJ
