The Negros Occidental Provincial Library observed Public Library Day, last week, with storytelling sessions, a clown show, gift-giving, and a book drive.
Organized by Friends of the Library and the Negros Press Club, over 100 students from schools across Bacolod City attended the event.
According to Provincial Librarian, Dr. Joyce Deloso, the celebration was enacted by former President Carlos P. Garcia, through Proclamation No. 563 s. 1959./WDJ
