A nurse was arrested by police in a buy-bust operation along Cabahug Street, Cadiz City, Tuesday.
Police identified the suspect as 26-year-old Cliffor Estelo, a resident of Barangay 5, Victorias City, and an employees of the Cadiz City Health Office.
Cadiz City police chief, Police Senior Superintendent Edel Jose Manzano, said Estelo was arrested after handing one sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover police officer.
A search of the suspect yielded eight sachets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia.
During interrogation, Estelo also revealed the identities of his suppliers, who operate in Victorias City.
The two alleged suppliers were also arrested in a follow-up operation conducted by Victorias City police that same day.
Estelo, meanwhile, is facing illegal drugs charges and is detained at the Cadiz City Police Station./WDJ
