The University of St. La Salle-Integrated (USLS-IS) junior basketball team will be leaving for Manila, on Sunday, to take part in the 2017 National Basketball Training Center (NBTC), which they qualified for as the Negros Island Region (NIR) champions.
USLS-IS earned the title after defeating Bacolod Tay Tung High School in the NBTC regional finals last month.
Among the schools set to take part in the competition include San Beda College, Mapua Institute of Technology, Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu, Far Eastern University, Filamsports USA, Camp David New Zealand, Durham Crossover Canada, AusPinoy Australia, Isabela Colleges (Cauayan), STI College Malolos, St. Joseph College-Olongapo, La Finn’s Scholastica (La Union), De La Salle Lipa, St. Benilde International School (Calamba), St. Jude College Dasmariñas Cavite, Inc., Jesus the Loving Shepherd Christian College (Naga), USLS, St. Robert’s International Academy (Iloilo), St. Louis College-Cebu, New Ormoc City National High School, Langatian National High School, Assumption Montessori School (Cagayan de Oro), Notre Dame of Midsayap College, and Ateneo de Davao.
The competition takes place from March 13 to 16 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena./WDJ
