The city government of Bacolod will fully implement the “No Segregation, No Collection” policy next month.
Bacolod City Administrator, Atty. John Orola, said garbage contractors will not collect any waste from a resident if it is not properly segregated.
He also stated they will implement penalties for anyone caught violating the garbage segregation policy.
Previously, the city government started an awareness campaign on proper waste segregation.
The Waste Management Board will later distribute the guidelines and different procedures in implementing the policy./WDJ
