Zamboanga SiKat snapped back into form with a dominant 117-80 victory over Bacolod Masskara in the SportsPlus Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) 2026 Season South Division at the Olivarez College Gym in Parañaque City.

The emphatic win improved Zamboanga’s record to 5-9, while Bacolod dropped to 3-14.

Inand Van Fornilos led the balanced Zamboanga attack with 18 points, seven rebounds and two assists.

Former University of Santo Tomas standout Forthsky Padrigao also turned in an all-around performance with 13 points, 12 assists, two rebounds, and two steals.

Brandon Wilson added 13 points and nine rebounds.

Levi Hernandez chipped in 12 points and two assists.

Michael Are finished with 11 points, seven assists and two rebounds.

Zamboanga took control early and never looked back, building a commanding 48-point lead at 103-55 before coasting to the 37-point victory.

Despite the loss, Desmond Price scored 24 points to lead Bacolod.

Marjun Wahing contributed 16 points, while Rafael Go posted 15 points and eight rebounds in the losing effort./ASC, WDJ
