Police chiefs at the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) have been reshuffled as implemented by BCPO Director Eugene Rebadomia.

BCPO spokesperson, Police Captain Liberty Indiape, said the changes are considered minor since most police chiefs will undergo schooling as part of their promotion requirements.

Among those reshuffled was Police Station 8 commander Major Lyndon Manilla, who was reassigned to the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division.

He was replaced by his deputy commander, Police Lt. Ildefonso Leonardo.

Police Station 10 commander Police Captain Genus David was also replaced by his deputy commander, Police Lt. Rowena Jean Magan.

Meanwhile, Police Major Kenneth Ray Militar of the Police Regional Office in the Negros Island Region (PRO-NIR) was reassigned as the new chief of BCPO’s City Community Affairs and Development Unit.

Police Major Dax Santillan, the former public information officer, was replaced by Indiape, who concurrently serves as public information officer and head of the Women and Children Protection Desk.

Mobile Patrol Unit chief Lt. Colonel Joeffer Cabural was also reassigned as the new head of the Bacolod City Mobile Force Company.

He was replaced by Police Captain Ramie Sayson.

Indiape said the reassignments are part of the regular personnel placement program and are intended to enhance the professional development and career advancement of the officers involved.

Rebadomia has directed all station commanders to intensify crime prevention efforts, particularly in the campaign against illegal drugs./MAP, WDJ
