Jordan Heading found his touch as the TNT Tropang 5G clamped down on the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings to score a 106-98 victory in Game 4 of the PBA Season 50 Commissioner’s Cup finals before 16,823 fans on Wednesday, June 10, at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.

The left-handed sniper finished with 29 points, highlighted by five three-pointers, as TNT turned the championship series into a virtual best-of-three affair.

TNT’s defense also stifled Ginebra in the second half, holding the Gin Kings to just 35.7 percent shooting in the third quarter and limiting them to only one field goal during a lengthy stretch in the fourth period.

The victory spoiled the night for RJ Abarrientos and Justin Brownlee, who were earlier crowned Best Player of the Conference and Best Import of the Conference, respectively.

Chris McCullough added 24 points, 14 rebounds and five assists, while Jayson Castro chipped in 14 points and Calvin Oftana contributed 12.

Meanwhile, Brownlee still finished with 32 points, five rebounds, and five assists, spearheading Ginebra’s late rally as the Gin Kings trimmed a double-digit deficit to as low as six points.

Abarrientos added 21 points, though 17 came in the first half, but those efforts were not enough as McCullough delivered the finishing touches, including a statement jam down the stretch. (ABS-CBN News)
