A high-value individual (HVI) and a street-level individual (SLI) were arrested in an early morning anti-drug operation in Bacolod City’s Barangay Sum-ag yesterday, with authorities seizing illegal drugs worth an estimated P680,000.
Suspects 31-year-old “Em-em,” tagged as an HVI, and 41-year-old “Polite,” categorized as an SLI, were arrested by operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office at 2:24 a.m. at Purok Fatima 2.
Both are residents of Barangay Sum-ag and were not listed on the barangay anti-drug abuse council watchlist.
Police said approximately 100 grams of suspected shabu were confiscated during the operation, with a standard drug price estimated at P680,000.
The suspects are currently in police custody as authorities prepare charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./CJ, WDJ
