
The PLDT High Speed Hitters continued its winning ways in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).
This, as the High Speed Hitters notched their second win in the 2025 Reinforced Conference by sweeping the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, 25-21, 25-20, 25-19, on Thursday, October 16, at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
This was PLDT’s 15th win in a row, going unbeaten since the 2025 On Tour and 2025 Invitational.
They joined Farm Fresh on top of Pool A with a 2-0 win-loss card.
Fil-Canadian spiker Savi Davison led the squad with 19 points on 15 attacks, three blocks and one ace to go with seven excellent digs and nine excellent receptions, while import Anastasia Bavykina had 13 points and five excellent receptions.
For their part, Choco Mucho is now 1-1, despite Marlee Smith finally seeing action for the Flying Titans.
Smith was forced to sit out last time around against the Cignal Super Spikers due to incomplete paperwork, but the team still won, 23-25, 25-19, 25-16, 27-25.
In her PVL debut, the American import dropped a game-high 20 points on 17 attacks, two swats and a point from the service line.
PLDT stakes its perfect run against Cignal, while Choco Mucho aims to bounce back against the Nxled Chameleons on Tuesday, October 21. (ABS-CBN News)
