The Canberra Buglas Region (CBR) SS Girls Born 2010 and Born 2008 squads clinched gold medals after ranking first overall in the City of Smiles Soccer Tournament held recently in Bacolod City.

The teams were mentored by Coach Joshua Fegidero and Jiff Lomugdang (AFC B License), with coaching staff Earl Bona, Rongerard Molequin and Beatrize Semillano.

The victories serve as part of the team’s buildup for the 2nd Verano International Soccer Cup set in San Diego, California from August 15 to 17, 2026.

The tournament featured strong competition, with CBR’s Born 2010 team facing squads such as Himamaylan NHS FT, Golden FC, JCFC-ELBFA, and Silay Lokal FC, while the Born 2008 division included Dancalan FT, Komodo Pharma FC, United Cabatuan FC, Silay Lokal FC, and Hinoba-an United FC Girls.
