The stage is set for one of Negros Occidental’s biggest grassroots football tournaments as the U19 Governor’s Cup Provincial Championship unveils its official team groupings ahead of kickoff.
In Group A, five squads will battle it out: Don Bosco–Elan Vita, CHF–Escalante, USLS–Bacolod, STIWNU, and Ponte–ISA.
Meanwhile, Group B features another powerhouse cast led by MACASA, San Carlos City, ADA–Bacolod, UNO–R, and Kahilog.
The Governor’s Cup has long been a platform for developing young talent across the province, bringing together schools, football clubs, and city representatives in pursuit of provincial glory.
With the groupings now set, excitement is building as fans anticipate thrilling matches and breakout performances from the region’s rising stars.
The tournament is expected to showcase the depth of Negrense football, with each team carrying its own history of competitiveness and pride.
