The Negros Occidental Regional Football Association (NORFA) has announced a change in venue for the semifinal and final rounds of the Under-16 (U-16) Champions League, with the matches now set to be played at the Bago City Sports Complex.
The semifinal pairings will feature the CST-R Golden Eagles against the Classico de San Carlos FC, while the City of Kabankalan FC will face the Bacolod United FC.
The winners will advance to the championship match, where the top U-16 team in Negros will be crowned.
NORFA said the venue shift was made to ensure better facilities and a quality playing field for the decisive stages of the tournament.
The quarterfinals, which concluded recently, showcased fierce competition and set the stage for these high-stakes encounters.
Now, all eyes turn to Bago City as the remaining squads prepare for their toughest tests yet.
Football fans across Negros are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the final schedule, including confirmed dates and kickoff times for both the semifinals and the championship match./ASC, WDJ
