The Negros Occidental Regional Football Association (NORFA) hailed Catalino Soliguen National High School for their runner-up finish in the secondary girls’ futsal at Palarong Pambansa 2025 in Ilocos Norte.

The Negros Occidental’s Pontevedra-based squad served as Western Visayas’ representatives at the annual sporting event.

“Your hard work, dedication and passion for the game have brought pride not only to your school and province but to the entire region,” NORFA said in a statement on Sunday, June 15.

“NORFA celebrates your outstanding achievement and looks forward to more victories in the future,” it added.

Among the members of the squad are Hannah Marie Montalban, Mhyelle Ghwyn Soliguen, Lian Gwyneth Soliguen, Ferriella Faye Hamili, Annica Art Gargar, Julianne Geanga, and Vialyn Deles.

Completing the team are Alysa Osorio, April Jean Tonog, Armae Castañeda, Athar Nadine Bravo, Alnie Joy Marquez, Angel Mae Bautista, Shaine Mhicaela Bendol, and Jean Rose Besona.

Members of their coaching staff are Juven Saludares, Wesvih Celes, Reggie Miraflor, Jay-R Gandel, Romelo Undo Hamili, and Cesar Egay./ASC, WDJ
