Bacolod Tay Tung High School Thunderbolts member Brianna Ang has mentioned Ateneo de Manila University and De La Salle University as her dream schools for college.

In an interview with Radyo Pilipinas, the Thunderbolts team captain admitted that some universities are already reaching her out, but there are still no formal talks.

“May mga schools na nag-reached out, pero hindi ko pa ma-share [kung ano] dahil wala pang formal [invitation],” the incoming Grade 12 student said.

If she ever picks the Ateneo Blue Eagles, Ang will reunite with former Tay Tung teammates Katherine Shaine Cortez, Jihan Chuatico, Alex Montoro, and incoming Ateneo rookies Dona Mae de Leon and Ana Hermosura.

However, if she joins the De La Salle Lady Spikers, Ang will have a chance to play alongside fellow Bacolodnon Angel Anne Canino.

Ang is currently part of the Thunderbolts squad, competing in the Shakey’s Girls Volleyball Invitational League Rising Stars Cup Division 1, competing at the La Salle Green Hills Gym.

She was also included in the Western Visayas secondary girls volleyball team that finished with a silver medal in the 2025 Palarong Pambansa last week in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte./ASC, WDJ
