Adrian Nocum and Jhonard Clarito combined for 50 points to tow the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters past the Phoenix Fuel Masters, 109-99, in the PBA Philippine Cup at the PhilSports Arena on Wednesday, May 28.

Nocum posted 30 points, while Clarito waxed hot from beyond the arc with four triples to post 20 points.

It was Rain or Shine from the get-go as they led by 19, 57-38 before halftime closed at 57-43. The Elasto Painters then took control of the game en route to the bounce-back victory.

Aside from Nocum and Clarito, Caelan Tiongson had 14 points, while Santi Santillan added 12 points as Rain or Shine improved to 5-3.

Ken Tuffin led the Fuel Masters with 15 points, while Tyler Tio and Raffy Verano chipped in 14 points each as Phoenix absorbed its third straight loss and slipped to 2-6. (GMA Integrated News)
