A 32-year-old call center agent was found dead at Barangay Matab-ang in Negros Occidental’s Talisay City on Sunday morning, January 12.

Talisay City police chief, Major Rhazl Jim Jocson identified the victim as Carl Kimberlyn Degabi, a resident of Bacolod City’s Barangay Mandalagan.

The victim was found without any clothing on her lower body.

She sustained injuries to her mouth, police said.

It is possible that Degabi might have been killed elsewhere before her body was dumped in Hacienda Lizares, Jocson said.

He added that Degabi left her home on Saturday night, January 11.

Authorities are awaiting autopsy results to determine the exact cause of death and whether she was sexually assaulted.

Jocson mentioned that investigators are looking into the possibility that her death may be linked to financial disputes, allegedly being involved in scamming activities./WDJ
