The Governor Bong Lacson Grassroot Volleyball Tournament will kick off with girls 12-and-under and 14-and-under divisions this morning at the Montalbo Covered Court in Bacolod City.

The three-day volleyball fest will draw 15 teams in the 12-and-under category and nine in the 14-and-under category.

Competing in the 12-and-under are the Bacolod Tay Tung High School Thunderbolts, Sanjus Sebuana-Cebu, the Sagay Stonekids, DVT-Bacolod, La Carlota, Talisay Elementary School, EELMS-Talisay, Jaguaras 101-San Carlos, University of St. La Salle-Bacolod, Sagay City JBPSES, Tabuelan Zhake Volleyball Club-Cebu, the Alpha Foxies-Bacolod, Hibaiyo-Guihulungan, and the Fireants-Capiz.

Participating in the 14-and-under category are the Bacolod Tay Tung High School Thunderbolts-A, the Bacolod Tay Tung High School Thunderbolts-B, the Sagay Stonekids, One Silay Sports, Madeliane Academy-Hinigaran, University of St. La Salle-Bacolod, the Talisay Elite, Medalla Bacolod, and the Blue Archers-Bacolod.
