A man killed himself after shooting his two daughters at Barangay Buntis in Negros Oriental’s Bacong town yesterday morning.

Lt. Stephen Polinar, spokesperson of the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office, said the 30-year-old security guard requested his wife at her house in Purok San Roque to take their daughters, aged three and five, with him.

However, his wife refused, which triggered an altercation.

The couple was separated, police said.

He drew his .9mm service firearm, and fired at his wife, who managed to escape.

The suspect shot his two daughters then killed himself, Polinar said.

The two children were declared dead in a hospital./WDJ
