As Negros Electric and Power Corporation (NEPC) continues to deliver reliable power distribution in Central Negros, Negrenses are optimistic about the distribution utility’s role in fostering a sustainable energy future for Bacolod City and its neighboring areas.

With ongoing improvements and focus on customer satisfaction, NEPC appears well-positioned to meet the growing energy needs of the community.

Very pleased

We’re very pleased, we’re very happy that Negros Power came in. This is perfect timing. We’re very happy nga you took over sometime in August. We’re very pleased for three reasons. Number 1, you’re bringing in people who have the necessary skills for this kind of service. You have the necessary equipment, most likely siguro, up-to-date pa na mga equipment niyo. And the financial backup which is necessary for funding your services.

Then you’re equipped — personnel-wise, equipment-wise and money-wise. You were able to bring that mobile substation. This was one of our commendations during our forum in March nga dapat all distribution utilities, especially the major ones in the city, should have mobile substations. So, we’re very happy with that, proving that you guys are really ready to improve the distribution services for Bacolod City and neighboring cities.

Power is the lifeblood of business — no power, no business. We have very good distribution utilities who can take care of our requirements not only today, but moving forward, meeting the needs, the growing power needs in the future coupled with a very business-friendly and very aggressive, also improving business conditions.

For us, it’s a perfect combination. These two factors increased our confidence to invest more and expand our businesses here in Bacolod City to create more jobs.

Continue good service

Wala naman [brownout], tayuyon man. Okay gid kaayo.

Dasig mag-ubra

Dasig sila mag-activate kag mag-ubra.

These testimonials reflect NEPC’s commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture that values both customer satisfaction and staff well-being, while striving to meet the evolving needs of its customers.

Open to suggestions

So ginapamatian nila kag gina-try man nila nga i-implement amon suggestions. [It’s a] positive way man sa amon nga side nga ma-feel namon may worth kami as mga engineers and supervisors nila.

Experience and growth

My experience at Negros Power can be described as the Japanese word “kaizen.” Every day I keep on improving to give the best possible service to all customers. I believe I will keep on experiencing and growing in this company. Negros Power provides us with all the opportunities, training and facilities that we use in our day-to-day operations. I’m very thankful to Negros Power for giving us this opportunity to be of service to its ever-growing members and customers. So we do hope and pray that we’ll continue to serve NEPC and the rest of the Negrense customers.

Recognizing potentials

Negros Power, in itself, embodies its power to lighten up people, power to help people, and power to alleviate our brothers and sisters who have no electricity just yet. NEPC takes care of its employees by providing avenues to improve ourselves, by recognizing the potential of each employee, whether that employee has the leadership, marketing potential or whatever, that is your strength. NEPC is really under-driven to develop future leaders in the company.

Well-equipped

For the past two months, I have been serving Negros Power and wala ako sang may ma-comment or mahambal nga negative. Dapat well-equipped kami tanan every day sang information nga ginahatag sa amon ni Negros Power, in order for us to satisfy sang aton nga customers.

Within reach

Working with NEPC is demanding when it comes to output but, at the same time, caring when it comes to the employees. I’ve been into with different corporations. I’ve been working in a corporate environment for almost 20 years, but I’d never experienced a company that individually, parang within reach lang. If you can, literally, see our office, we’re near to each other. We can see everybody working, everyone is within reach. Even the top management, even our CEO, even our President is within reach, down to rank and file. ‘Yung relationship, parang we’re close to each other. That’s a testament to the culture of NEPC. Thank you for all the dedication, for coming here in Negros. That’s one of the reasons why I transferred here, because of the mission that NEPC is trying to share with the community, to alleviate the lives of every Negrense. I’m glad and grateful to be part of that mission.
