The teams of Kai Sotto, Ray Parks Jr., AJ Edu, and Roosevelt Adams all absorbed defeats in their games in the Japan B.League.

After starting their year with four straight wins, Parks Jr. and Osaka Evessa have now lost two games in a row.

Osaka succumbed to the Seahorses Mikawa, 95-81, during their clash on Sunday, October 20, at the Kariyashi Taiikukan.

Parks Jr. was still admirable with 15 points, two rebounds and an assist in almost 27 minutes of action but, unfortunately, they fell to 4-2, currently third place in the Western Division.

Sotto and the Koshigaya Alphas also fell short of starting a winning streak as they moved back to the loss column after their fifth defeat.

Koshigaya was defeated by the Shimane Susanoo Magic, 92-76. The 7-foot-3 Sotto contributed 12 points, four rebounds, three assists, and a steal, but they now sit at 1-5, No. 7 in the Eastern Division.

Also falling short were Edu and Nagasaki Velca.

Nagasaki was defeated by the Gunma Crane Thunders, 82-72, at the Open House Arena Ota, in the game where edu was limited to only six points, five rebounds and an assist.

Fortunately, they are still above .500 at 4-2, No. 5 in the Western Division.

Lastly, Adams and the Yamagata Wyvers fell back to below .500, after they were dropped by the Toyoma Grouses, 88-64, at the Yamagata Prefectural Sports Park.

Adams had a quiet game with only three markers, and they now sit at 2-4, fifth in the Eastern Division. (ABS-CBN News)
