The win-loss record of the Akari Chargers in the 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference has yet to be tainted.
From a clean 8-0 sweep of the preliminaries up until the knockout playoffs, the Taka Minowa-coached squad sustained their form towards their first-ever PVL finals, their last game being the dramatic semifinal round against PLDT, 25-22, 18-25, 22-25, 26-24, 17-15, on Saturday, August 31, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
But for star spiker Ivy Lacsina, despite going through a historic campaign, that all-win record isn’t on the Chargers’ minds.
Giving their best was enough for them, she also said, as the former F2 star expressed happiness at entering the championship series.
Ang importante, nag-all out po kami ngayong season,” Lacsina said.
Lacsina has propelled herself to Most Valuable Player following a standout performance all conference long, contributing a total of 128 points on 113 attacks, 14 blocks and an ace. (ABS-CBN News)
