The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) has confiscated a staggering P4.9 million worth of shabu and arrested 138 individuals during its operations against illegal drugs from July 23 to August 22.
BCPO’s report showed 31 individuals and 42 wanted persons, including four most-wanted individuals, were arrested in 27 anti-illegal drug operations.
The operations led to the seizure of 724.060 grams of shabu, valued at P4,923,608.
The drug haul is part of BCPO’s broader campaign against illegal activities in the city.
BCPO continues to intensify its campaign to curb the proliferation of illegal drugs in Bacolod.
Meanwhile, the city police also conducted 21 operations against illegal gambling, which resulted in the arrest of 60 individuals.
A total of P9,401 in bet money was confiscated during the operations.
Furthermore, the BCPO reported the recovery of 17 loose firearms, as well as the arrest of five individuals.
The city police continue to call on the community to support their efforts by reporting illegal activities and cooperating with law enforcement agencies./WDJ
