Zelver Faith Baguiao was named as Best Middle Blocker, Luchi Vivero as Best Libero, Sam Cañete as Best Opposite Spiker, and Marishka Alexandria Andrada as Best Setter.

Also part of the Thunderbolts team are Ariane Alayon, Jemaimah Calvo, Kyana Cortez, Nicole Getino, Jesica Soco, Miley Panganiban, Athena Magbanua, Chloe Alimon, and Yz Montalbo.

In the group stage round, the Gee Banzuela-mentored Thunderbolts prevailed over 1 Silay Sports B, the Talisay Aces, and Iglau-an for a 3-0 win-loss record.

In the quarterfinals round, the Thunderbolts defeated the Ball Movers squad before they repeated their mastery of 1 Silay Sports B in the semifinals round.

“This is a good test to these young Thunderbolts volleybelles because they played and won consecutive matches in a day,” Thunderbolts team manager Jose Montalbo said.

“Participating in this kind of one-day tournaments will help them mature quickly and prepare them for the junior level of the team,” he added.
