Ten individuals were injured as their tricycle plunged into a river at Barangay San Fernando in Negros Occidental’s Talisay City on Wednesday afternoon, March 20.

Talisay police said the tricycle was carrying family members and several residents from Bacolod City’s Barangay Banago.

Police reported that the tricycle overturned due to a large rock.

The passengers, including four children, were thrown into the river.

They sustained minor injuries to different parts of their bodies.

Police said the victims were transported to the Talisay City Health Office for medical attention./JB, WDJ
