Bago City, and the towns of Calatrava and La Castellana each reported one case.
Eleven out of 31 LGUs in Negros Occidental reported at least one suspected ILI case.
No ILI fatalities have been reported during the period.
However, the sheer volume of cases raises an urgent need for preventive measures and heightened public awareness.
The PHO continues to emphasize the importance of practicing good hygiene, getting vaccinated and seeking immediate medical attention when experiencing flu-like symptoms.
The Department of Health has been closely monitoring the situation, intensifying its efforts in surveillance, early detection and providing proper medical intervention to those affected./JB, WDJ
