Two individuals were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation, which led to the confiscation of an estimated P408,000 worth of suspected shabu at Purok Hollow Blocks in Bacolod City’s Barangay Singcang-Airport early yesterday morning.

The suspects were identified as 38-year-old Charisse Nicole Ledesma, a resident of Barangay 24; and 45-year-old Remus Cabiles of Barangay Taculing’s Puentebella Subdivision, both in Bacolod City.

Authorities recovered six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets and two knot-tied plastic sachets containing suspected shabu from the suspects, identified as high-value individuals.

The suspects are detained in Police Station 8’s custodial facility, and will be facing charges in violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./JB, WDJ
