The suspect in the hit-and-run incident that allegedly killed a senior citizen along Lacson Street in Bacolod City’s Barangay Mandalagan on February 23 is still at-large.

Police Station 3 commander, Captain Rondyll Tapang, said the suspect is expected to face charges of reckless imprudence resulting to homicide and additional charges.

The city police are still reviewing closed-circuit television footage in an effort to identify the suspect onboard a mini dump truck.

Meanwhile, the victim, 66-year-old Elsa Sta. Ana, a resident of Barangay 13 in Negros Occidental’s Victorias City, was positively identified by her sibling, Flordelita Jamora.

Her family finally reclaimed the body.

They also confirmed that the victim was missing for a week prior to the incident./JB, WDJ
